Friday Fitness Recap- May 9

Friday- Cold 20 minute walk
I thought I was going to do a 50 minute walk around the office but it was too cold and rainy and I wimped out after 20 minutes! Ha ha! Better than nothing I guess!

Saturday- Nothing

Here’s the deal with Saturday, I was woken up at 6 a.m. by an adorable, curly haired baby. At 3 p.m. I got dressed to workout but was so exhausted I decided to take a 20 minute power nap. That 20 minute nap turned into 2.5 hours and then we had to go to a friends house for dinner. Oops!!

Sunday- Dog walk & Pilates

It was a cold raining day but I bundled up and took Rocky out for a much needed run.

After our walk, I headed to my yoga buddy Rachelle’s house for some cardio pilates at her place./ We used a DVD my mum had given me as a gift a while ago. The pilates part was great, it really worked my core hard but the cardio was a bit of a joke. Still, we got in some physical activity on an otherwise crappy day!

Monday- Two Games of Softball (5km)

I got in some good running playing outfield in softball on Monday!

 Tuesday- Nothing

I knew I wouldn’t get anything done this day. I had to work through lunch and Tuesday’s I have dinner and spend the evening at my grandparents. I did do 10 minutes of yoga with Ryan, so that was fun.

Wednesday- 5.25 mile run in 1:05

My first long run since my 10k last month! Cardio-wise I felt fine, it was my stiff and heavy legs that gave me issues.

Thursday- Nike Training Club in the Park

I had planned on doing a burpee run but a school had taken over the Civic Track for a field day. I headed to another park nearby and did a killer NTC workout that blasted my legs, they were jelly on the run back.

It was warm enough for shorts! SHORTS!
