I do crazy things people, like sign up for a triathlon three weeks out. Yeah….. I don’t know why I do the crazy things I do!

Today I took my first step to training with a mini brick run. I was on my 70s bike with no gears which made for a difficult 11.57 miles and I did a short run of a mile.

Because all the training programs I found were 12 week or put the workouts in terms I didn’t like, I combined several to create my own three week program.

Here is what I’ll be up to the next three weeks.

    Best of luck. You probably don’t need all of those Bricks. Two will suffice, just to learn to transition the legs. Make sure you are comfortable in those open water swims.
