I first heard of Kooee! Super Snacks through Girls Gone Sporty and I thought it sounded like a perfect product for me (Jerky Trail Mix) so I asked the company to send a few sample packs.

KOOEE! Jerky Trail Mix is a super healthy snack.  It’s high in protein, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and has no added sugar, preservatives, nitrates or anything artificial. The beef is 100% grass fed beef raised in Australia and if you read the ingredients list there isn’t a single ingredient you can’t pronounce.

The company recently wrapped up a successful Kickstarter campaign and will have online shopping available soon. Good! Because I need to order this stuff by the case for next summer’s hikes, camping trips, and soft ball tournaments.

Currently they offer two flavours Lime Pepper with Mango and Smoke Chipotle with Apple and they have a third mystery flavor coming soon.

 Smoke Chipotle with Apple

I have mixed feelings on this flavor. I loved the spicy chipotle beef when I ate it at my desk with a water bottle handy but I think on a hike it would just make you thirstier.  Also, I HATED the caocao nibs, they were way too bitter for my liking.

Lime Pepper with Mango

I took this snack on a recent winter hike and I loved it! Every bit of trail mix was so tasty and it’s very filling. I ate half the pack mid way through our hike and the rest when we were done. This is definitely the flavor I’ll be ordering in the future.

Kooee! is a new company but definitely one to follow. Check them out on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

On a side note: congrats to Edmond & Louise for winning the So Delicious Giveaway! I’ll be contacting you via email today!

Disclaimer- Kooee! provided the sample packs free of charge in exchange for a review. My thoughts are, as always, my own.
