The Healthy Student- Study Walk

This fall has been so incredibly warm and beautiful and so when I had my first midterm looming, the last thing I wanted to do was hole up in the library or Starbucks. I had a great idea on how to get outside, get in a little exercise and cram for my Sports Psychology exam.

Off I went with my notecards, muttering to myself and looking crazy. It felt like I was retaining the information a little better because my body was moving.

It took me an hour and twenty minutes to traverse 3 miles but I left my walk feeling good mentally and physically.

I won’t have many days left when I can comfortably study walk, but I’ll pick the practise up again in the spring.
