Another Friday is here already?!? Yowza! This week was… meh fitness wise. I didn’t go on a run once but I was active almost every day. I have to admit that’s because I had softball three nights in a row and I kept trying to get out of it to do homework but our team didn’t have enough girls for me to skip.
Let’s look at my week shall we?
Sunday- Mountain biking for about 3 hours
Rachelle and I biked in Waterton and that’s a workout! Especially when we were biking into the wind!
Ryan is being SOOOOO sweet knowing how stressed I am with school. When I asked him to go on a bike ride to clear my head he said yes even though his back was aching from work.
Tuesday- Thursday- Softball
It’s hard to call softball a workout. It’s defintely active and I do have short burst of sprinting but not enough to work up a big sweat or anything. It’s still a lot of fun and my batting has really improved this year, though my fielding is still abysmal.
Sarada Fitness Wear
One of the things I love about being in the fitness blogging community is getting introduced to new, small companies, especially Canadian ones! I was sent an adorable pink fitness top called the Dharma top from Sarada Fitness Wear. Sarada (means “fit, lean woman” in Portuguese) is a Canadian company that designs bright, colourful, sexy fitness wear.
Even better, they donate a portion of every sale to the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation. A non profit Mexican sanctuary that rescues big felines from circuses, zoos and other negative circumstances. All Sarada’s products are named after the felines rescued angels at the sanctuary.
Back to my dharma top- it’s a little too late for sports bra runs but the warm weather stuck around long enough this week for me to get photos and try it out. The top is a medium support top, so I would use it more for weight lifting, walking, or hiking.
The back is soooooo cute! I need a backless shirt so I can rock this bra underneath it.
What I love most about it though are the little details. Woven into the colourful floral pattern are various balls! On my bra I have a tennis ball and a football hidden among the flowers which is pretty neat. And it’s a good comfortable stretchy material.
Go to Sadara’s website to check out their colourful and sexy fitness gear!
My favourite photo- I am too big of a goofball to take good photos!
