I’ve decided not to set any resolutions in 2017. All I want is to be healthy and happy and I don’t need a resolution to do that.
When I heard about Chopped Leaf’s 31 Day Challenge, I thought that would be a great way to kick off 2017 with a healthy bang, hitting restart without making a year long commitment.
For my Southern Alberta readers, Chopped Leaf is a restaurant that offers quality and healthy salads and wraps, soups, sandwiches and appetizers. They have a Lethbridge location opening in the next couple of months on the Westside! SCORE! I’ve lamented the lack of healthy places to grab a quick meal so I’m happy this place is coming.
THE 31 DAY CHALLENGE
This isn’t something too out there, it’s a month long campaign to help you also start the year off with a healthy bang. Chopped Leaf will share daily tips and motivation and to sweeten the deal, give out prizes!
- a $1,000 gift card to Chopped Leaf;
- a full-year membership to any GoodLife Fitness locations across Canada; and
- a spa and well-balanced lifestyle package.
My goal for this challenge is to clean up my eating! I am a stress eater and during the school year, an alarmingly high amount of chocolate and candy is consumed in my house. I’m hoping the tips and motivation from this challenge can help me stay strong and away from the junk!
I’ll be following along every day this week as I navigate a new semester of school with new challenges. This challenge is just what I need to keep me on track and to adjust healthy habits with my new schedule of school, work, and student teaching.
Are you going to give the challenge a try?
What New Years Resolution are you setting (if any)?
