I always know not to get too excited in March. On Wednesday we woke up to shin deep snow and last night it started snowing and I don’t think it’s stopped! THIS is why I need to go on a spring vacation in February, just to help get through this final month or so of winter weather.

This has not been a good week for me in terms of workouts. In fact, I haven’t done an actual workout all week!

It was my first week of student teaching and the learning curve of teaching grade 10’s compared to grade 5’s is a big one. I’m adjusting as the week goes on and as I get to know my students I can write better lesson plans based on them and what they like.

But while I haven’t hit the treadmill or lifted a weight, I sure have stayed active. I get between 11,000- 13,000 steps a day teaching gym. I jump in when I can and I play, workout, and stretch with the kids. I’m staying active, just not training.

Meanwhile, my friend Jo at Living Mint Green is a beast and killing two-a-days and everything! #fitspiration

Because I have no workouts to report, today’s post is a great infographic with tips for running in the winter. Enjoy!

Lol!!! I don’t do two-a-days often. I’m so excited for this latest winter to be over. This is the time of year when we all start feeling a little crazy.

It sure is! Because you hear March and think spring but it’s not. March is definitely still winter in Canada!
