Happy Friday! This week was hard to adjust to life back home after two weeks in Washington with my family. Back to cooking my meals, cleaning, and battling that dog hair!

One reality that sank in this week is that the Raymond Triathlon is only two weeks away and I (surprise! surprise!) haven’t been training much.  Ugh! What is wrong with me? Luckily, I signed up for the Super Sprint which is really short distances so I should be ok.

Let’s take a look at my week!

Friday & Saturday Nothing

Sunday- 30 minute walk

My cousin Geener (nickname) was in town from Kansas so we took our babies on a sunset walk and catch up session.

Monday- 40 minutes walk & 30 minute HIIT workout

TyTy and I did our usual early afternoon walk about town and when Ryan came home I did a 30 minute HIIT workout. I originally planned to swim after but I was so dead from my HIIT workout I skipped the swim.

Tuesday-45 minute walk  & 43 minute bike ride

TyTy and I went on a walk with my friend and her kids on Tuesday. When Ryan got home that evening, I went off on my bike trying to beat the storm clouds that were moving in. I almost made it, I was caught in the rain or the last couple minutes of my ride, but I missed the hail!

Wednesday 35 minute walk & 25 minute HIIT & 20 minute swim

Wednesday was a great day for moving! After our usual afternoon walk, TyTy was still fast asleep so I squeezed in a fast 25 minute HIIT workout. Let me tell you, nothing pushes you harder than trying to finish your workout before your baby wakes up!

I also finally hit the pool or a 20 minute swim.During the first 100m I thought I was going to just drop out of this triathlon but then I warmed up a little and I knew I could cover that short 250m on race day.

Thursday-  Nothing

So that was my week. Not super hard-core, but a step in the right direction.
